Returns & Refund Policy – Northblomst
At Northblomst, we create and deliver fresh flowers, bouquets, gift baskets and selected gift products prepared after order.
Northblomst is a Danish flower brand with its own online ordering, customer service and delivery coordination. All orders are handled under the Northblomst name, with one clear focus: fresh flowers, a beautiful expression and delivery with care.

Right of Withdrawal
Under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, the normal 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly.
As Northblomst sells fresh flowers, bouquets prepared after order, gift baskets and other perishable or specially prepared products, orders are binding once they have been placed.
For this reason, Northblomst does not offer a general right of withdrawal on these products.

Changes or Cancellation of an Order
If you wish to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible:
We will always try to help where possible.
However, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed if the bouquet, gift basket or product has already been prepared, packed, assigned for production or sent for delivery.
For same-day delivery, changes and cancellations must be requested as early as possible, as preparation and delivery coordination may begin shortly after the order is placed.

Complaints and Product Quality
At Northblomst, we care about quality and presentation.
If you receive a product that is damaged or does not meet the expected quality, please contact us on the same day as the delivery.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, complaints must be made within a reasonable time and preferably within 24 hours after delivery.
Complaints received later than 24 hours after delivery may be rejected.
If the complaint is approved, Northblomst may offer one of the following solutions, depending on the situation:

Each complaint is assessed individually based on the order, product, delivery documentation and the condition shown in the photos.

Natural Variation in Flowers
Flowers are natural products, and availability may vary depending on season, quality and supply on the day of preparation.
The photos on our website are for inspiration and guidance only. The exact flowers, shades, size, packaging and presentation may vary.
Northblomst always aims to preserve the same style, colour feeling, value and overall expression as the selected product.
If a specific flower, colour or material is unavailable, it may be replaced with another suitable alternative of similar colour, quality and value.
Special wishes should be written in the order notes or message field when placing the order. We always do our best to follow customer wishes, but specific flower varieties, colours or materials cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed separately by Northblomst in writing.

Gift Baskets and Add-On Products
Gift baskets and add-on products may vary slightly depending on availability.
If a specific item is unavailable, Northblomst may replace it with a similar item of equal or higher value. We always aim to maintain the same overall quality, value and presentation.
Food, chocolate and other perishable gift items cannot be returned once delivered, unless there is a documented quality issue.

Delivery
Delivery in Denmark costs 69 DKK unless otherwise clearly stated at checkout.
Delivery is considered completed when the order has been delivered to the address provided by the customer.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide correct and complete delivery information, including:

Special delivery instructions, if needed
If the recipient is not at home, Northblomst may, where appropriate, leave the flowers or gift at the door, with a neighbour, in a safe place or according to the delivery instructions provided by the customer.
Where available, delivery documentation may include a delivery photo, driver note or delivery confirmation.
Northblomst is not responsible for failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect address information, missing recipient details, inaccessible buildings, locked entrances, missing phone number or other circumstances outside our control.
Northblomst is not responsible for circumstances after delivery, including theft, weather damage, incorrect placement caused by missing instructions or damage occurring after the order has been delivered.

Funeral Flowers, Weddings and Event Orders
Funeral flowers, wedding flowers and event flowers often require special timing, planning and preparation.
The customer is responsible for providing all necessary information, including ceremony time, church or chapel name, venue address, contact person, delivery date and any special instructions.
For funeral flowers, Northblomst aims to deliver in good time before the ceremony, provided that the correct information has been submitted.
Changes or cancellations of funeral, wedding or event orders may not be possible if preparation, flower sourcing, production planning or delivery planning has already started.

Refund Method
If a refund is approved, it will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the order.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
